Does Opus#3 support saving of offline Spotify tracks?

This is more of the apps' capability - not the unit itself. Well correction, this is also how the OS was tailored to (if it can install Android apps) - but to directly answer your question, Yes it can. I have a few Spotify playlists downloaded and i listen to them offline with no issues.

Are the offline songs saved to the SD card or the internal memory? I'm currently considering this DAP, and Fiio X5 iii since I'd need the occasional offline spotify playlists. I am aware that doing a factory reset on Opus#3 will erase Spotify (and any other sideloaded apps). Will this delete the saved offline files too (whether saved in internal memory / SD card)?

Spotify has the option for you to change save locations. Once the app is deleted, it will of course delete all associated files - including saved ones.

They also have a demo unit Opus#3 for $699 on Amazon. I just purchased a demo unit Opus#2 from them on Amazon and I'm very pleased with it, very clean and like new at a great discount.

Edit: A letter

Hello! I am looking at the opus#3 at the moment thinking whether I should get it. I will use it to drive the IE800. Would the #3 be significantly more powerful than the #1?

I have both and on paper the #3 has the edge

#3
Unbalanced 2.5Vrms / Balanced 3Vrms

#1
Unbalanced 2.1Vrms / Balanced 2.3Vrms

I don't own the ie800 so i can't really comment on that. But at 16ohms, both units won't have any issues driving them. I have a 31.5ohm IEM and it drives them without breaking a sweat.
