  I have mine with a Silver Dragon cable and it helped opening the sound a bit. IMO they can't be beat for the money. I love them out of my AK240.

Nice! Funny you mentioned the AK240...I'll be running them out of my AK240SS very shortly. Is your SD cable balanced for your AK240?

Yes, balanced. I don't know if is the cable or being balanced or most likely both but they sound great!

I bet the balanced cable is helping...it makes a big difference when I run my LCD-X, HE1000s through the AK240 balanced. Sadly my PM-3 listening tonight will be in single-ended mode...but it still sounds darn good!!!

Since I have used balanced cable on my Theorem 720, I have never looked back! For me, the difference is very noticeable perhaps because Theorem's balanced output is much better than SE but I don't know for sure. The cable made for me by Surf Cables is very good and priced reasonably.​

I personally would go with a sliver or silver clad cables something like the Silver Dragon or the WireWorld Nano Silver Eclipse.

Or any thoughts on differences between these? I'm generally looking for increased width and more low end if that helps.

I would personally go with the DHC Molecule. I have the Elite version and is really nice and have the Complement 4 with my HE1000 and totally love it.
