Ive got the shp9500 and am looking for an upgrade. I listen to Slayer, System of a Down, and other bands alike. I have the jds atom amp. I would also be using them for gaming.

I’ve actually already got a dac amp. The JDS OL/ATOM stack. Im to get the 58x and akg k712 and see which one I like the most.

If you have not already purchased, you should read about an HE400S and see what you think. I like mine for metal. It's planar, btw.
