Hi, Sorry - being lazy! How are you guys applying the acyrlic/JB Weld fix? Are you just filling the gap on surface or are you somehow managing to apply the "solution" deeper down? Thanks
Also another question - I'm looking for a 2.5mm balanced to 3.5mm unbalanced cable (not connector). Am I right in thinking an adaptor for a 2.5mm headset to 3.5mm stereo will also work with this? Such as this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Female-Headset-Speaker-Adaptor/dp/B006K8RTSW/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1470683709&sr=8-8&keywords=2.5mm+to+3.5mm
Thanks
Thanks for getting back. You sure that's right- I might have not been clear. I already have an balanced cable, just want to get an adaptor for this so I can use the cable through the unbalanced port when I'm on the move (to save on battery and protect that flimsy 2.5mm port!) So wouldn't a 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male be needed?
The cable I require would convert from balanced to unbalanced.
Anyone else?
Oh didn't know what you were doing. But I don't think that will work as it's not balanced to balanced, I think you can ruin the X1 by using this, or you only get sound out of one side.
Someone correct me or clarify please.
Wel after i sold my x1 and jumped around with other daps, I just bought a x1 again. I missed the x1's sound. Hope it will come this week
I bought one of these. It allows me to use my IEMs with a balanced connector on devices with a 3.5mm jack. I like it as it places less stress on the connector than a straight adapter.
