This, exactly it lol..I can fit a shark in those gaps....a parent size shark in the 2.5 gap, and a children one into the 3.5 gap

Use your finger, check if there is side-side play and you will know

I plugged in a jack in the 3.5mm socket, there's no play. The area that looks like gap in the photo is actually bevel in the chassis around the socket

Neutron Music Player supports CUE files.
For .iso files, I think only video players support this (can't find a music app that does this), you can try VLC player.
 
I would actually advise you to convert your files into FLAC, and split into individual tracks for use on your DAP.
You can use foobar to convert/split and mp3tag for tagging operations.
It might be tedious but will definitely pay off in the long run!

Thanks.  I'll try it later and keep my ear out for the distortion.  The ISO situation is primarily of ripped SACDs... Sigh it is unfortunate that ironically my original Fiio X3 can read CUE and ISO files (even the DSD ones) properly but not these android software/app players...

have you seen any japan manufacturer here? I guess not, they have just different trading&service culture, so can't expect such royal direct representative, but they collect all feedback at japanese AV forums, just because it is official sales on internal market, not here yet.
