I'm enacting thread necromancy because I'm considering getting this DAC soon. I'm curious if there are any more impressions since Gu Sensei's awesome description.

I am seriously considering this DAC too. For reasons already mentioned in this thread- non-garage build quality and an array of features. 
 
Would have to use a voltage stepdown transformer in Europe, but that should not be a problem.

Thats good for you.  I would like a hp jack so I don't have to buy a separate amp for it.

Better buy a dedicated amp with a DAC built-in.
