  previous problem of impulse pop sound on AM2 seems to be fixed
 
but when X7 is connected via coaxial digital out to Chord Mojo, there is the impulse pop sound when switching tracks. This impulse pop sound was not present in FW2 or in my other DAP X5 connected to Mojo via coax.

 
On AM2A there's still impulse sound on insertion and extraction of the jack. FW3.0.4

Sadly that version of the firmware does not allow Amazon Music to stream nor does it allow Bluetooth connection to my Chord QBD76 DAC. I have confirmed that my DAC is operating correctly, my iPhone connects and streams.
Also, please note that the version you asked me to try down-samples hi res tracks from the digital Coax output to my Chord Hugo. You fixed this problem in the latest beta.

@Fiio I like Fiio products a lot and really enjoy my Fiio X7 with AM5 and AM3. Also I am happy that we can test new firmware and actively participate in software development. Most bugs that I noticed are already described by other users but I want add smt. Recently I bought Fiio DK1 and wanted to use it as a charger and get music via coax output but unfortunately when I connect my X7 to DK1 line out automatically activates and there is no possibility to get coax output to work. This is very disappointing and makes my purchase useless. So Fiio can you please add possibility to switch output when X7 is connected to DK1.

OTA offered a further update and am now running3.0.4.161028_beta_b36. I can confirm that I cannot connect to any BT device, I can pair with media and phone devices but not connect, using Bluetooth SPP tool SPP comms failure is reported. Looks like my best option is to revert back to FW 2.0

My x7 fw 3.0.4 is pairing ok with Sennys M2 and showing aptx csr, sounds much better than my Sony ZX phone.

  I'm beginning to believe the problem with the media scanning is not the number of files but the size of the sd card.  It will scan all songs on my 128 GB card with no problems.  My 200 GB card is a different story.  Doesn't matter how many songs I load on it media scan never scans all of them.
 
When I use my bluetooth aptx supported headphones there is no aptx icon in the status bar.  So who knows if this function is even working.

128GB is a Samsung and the 200GB is Sandisk.  I have MP3  320, FLAC and a few dsd.  I can't get the 200GB card to scan more than 300 songs with FW3.0.4.  With FW3.0.3 I had 8900 songs in the 200GB card and it would scan 6289.  I have the Samsung full with 5970 and it scans them all fine.  Just to let you know when using FW2.0 it scanned all 8900 songs.  My X3ii also scans all 8900 songs.

In v3.04 I can log in to Amazon Music and can download tracks to the internal SD card (not external). The downloaded tracks will then play in the Amazon Music app. If I try to stream a track from the Amazon server the track will select, play 1second and then lock up.
Of equal concern is the lack of Bluetooth connectivity I have in v3.04 which does not appear to be shared with other users. If the connection problem was confined to one device then I would suspect the receiving devices, however it seems to affect all the devices I try to connect with. Testing the same devices with my iPhone and iPad all connect correctly.
Just to repeat none of these issues are present in FW2.0

Today i spent  more time with FW3.0.4 beta. And I noticed that i have same problems that I had with FW3.0.1 beta- many  cue files open as a list but music doesn't start, few cue's doesn't open at all. Very often this happens with my Ukrainian musics (maybe because of Cyrillic characters). Sometimes few flac's  dont work as well. It takes some time to open next song - button doesn't react when I push it but in second or two next song starts to play. Also I have glitches when I scroll song and in general touch screen  looks less accurate. Definitely prefer FW3.0.3 beta over FW3.0.4 beta

Upgraded 3.0.4 from 3.0.3, my concern was the 200 gb card since some people reported problems reading large devices.

So...
Counting tracks on internal storage + 128Gb SD card = 1883; X7 scans 1883 but crashes at end with a "Sorry an error occurred " and closes.
Counting tracks on internal storage + 200Gb SD card = 4828; X7 scans 4815 and finishes fine - no crash.

I suspect FiiO music app crash is related to album art because there's no cover in any album after scanning the 128Gb card, although seems to play fine. Did reset to factory twice, clear cache, etc. with same results. Been checking card contents for some strange file, everything looks fine and btw no problem with 3.0.3. Bottom line is there is no problem with the 200Gb card except it doesn't detect 13 tracks (don't know which).

Just some more troubleshooting info for you.  When I go into recover it reports that it failed to mount the external sd card.  However in the settings menu I can mount and unmount the sd card just fine.  It also shows the correct amount of used/unused storage.
