nice job, scroll wheel works fine now
 
if you could improve the eq in next firmware (especially the bass setting, even at highest point it has very little effect) and also add a shortcut to eq from playing screen, it will be perfect

The following changes and improvements were made to firmware version 1.21 compared to FW1.2:
1. Optimized UI and media library update speeds.
2. Added library search function: activate by holding Shortcuts button in any category or folder browsing screen; use previous / next buttons to switch between numbers and alphabet).
3. Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Thanks for confirming As an X3II owner, I would be more than happy to be a beta tester for this enhancement on that device also It's the single function I feel has been a key missing feature on the Fiio players since day 1. Having it added would be gold!

Hi, yes, if you don't use library, then you can keep the firmware 1.2. Because the third improvement is also for the media library.

I had a bug. 
 
When I have 4 sub folders or less (in folder browsing mode) the last folder on the screen repeats itself, and is empty.

When I updated to firmware 1.2 and 1.21, my genres got mixed up. I had set the I'd using a tagging editor and it shows up as a different genre on my x5 yet when I put the 128gb card in a memory card reader on the computer, it shows up fine as the genre I've set it to. So I had to revert back to firmware 1.1. Now it's back to normal. The wheel still operates fine whether it was 1.1 or 1.2.

I'll also admit the bass needs to be fixed since it's the same whether the eq is on or off. Original firmware 1.0 had great bass

Thanks for the alphabetic search! Now the only further improvement I wish is a shortcut to the equalizer.
 
Firmware 1.21 works flawlessly so far except for one issue: The Resume function doesn't work anymore.

Not sure what your problem is. So you can't upgrade your X5II to the firmware 1.21beta? And you just got the message "File system not support"?  If so, pls format your micro SD card to FAT32 firstly.
