I had 1.6 before. When i installed 2.0, wheel was working not very good.
Regards.

Please try to downgrade the firmware to the FW1.6 and test if the wheel control will be better. Here is the download link for FW1.6:

This bug might be hard to duplicate. The song was coming to an end so I started to browse for the next song I wanted to hear. I happened to hit the back button at the same time that the the song ended. It was the last song in the folder and I had the 'play through folders' option enabled. Somehow, my hitting the back button and it changing to the next folder at the same time, glitched the searching options. It showed the correct amount of items that were supposed to be in the menu, but they all had the same name—the name of the album I had been playing from. Selecting any of those options, and hitting 'back' showed more menus with that same album name.
turning it off and on again fixed it.

This is unexpected, thanks!

Great firmware support.

I only wish you could've added folder play, instead of working with playlists.  *sigh*

Also, when using lineout, if you leave the player on that screen without pressing OK, the unit will freeze.

I brought this up a while back, but it's not the end of the world.

Thank you!

Also wondering if you could provide a way for people to come up with their own custom firmware, homebrews.

Thanks again!

Cheers,
Mike

A little confused with this last post about the new theme.

The firmware file from the first page is the same as this one, minus the documentation?

Edit: Neeeeeeeevermind, sorry guys, haven't had my third cup of coffee yet.  LOL

Also, new splash screen on bootup!  :)

I dunno about you guys, but I love a good placebo effect. HAHA, sounds better to me on new firmware!

All kidding aside the performance of the unit is noticeable for me.  Tracks playing, and switching are much faster, no "lag".

Thumbs up, great final firmware!  Greatly appreciated.  :)

Also, thanks Joe, I did receive my replacement battery, but you sent 2, in separate shipments.  :)

Edit: I dunno, after some more listening it really does sound like EQ has changed. For the better for me, a bit more forward sounding with some warmth.

I just experienced the freezing if left on the "line in" warning without pressing OK bug.

It's a major issue in my opinion, as I use my unit with a FiiO Q1 on public transit daily. So if I turn it on as I'm leaving my apartment and forget to check to see if it's turned on and to press OK, it will hang on me, and I don't carry a small pin with me everywhere I go, so I'm left with no music until I can find something to reset it with.

Please fix this.

Hi, ShampooCA.

No, the new firmware added with the black theme is not the same as the one on the first page, even thought both of them have the same firmware version FW2.0.
I will make some explanation on the first page later, and sorry for making you confused. :frowning2:
