633 now.

That’s 18 over the past 24 hours.

The sales seem to have gotten into a pretty steady rhythm.

At the current pace, 18 per day for the next 24 days would be 432, giving a total of 1065 units out of 3000 in the first month.
I think if they end up hitting 1500 in about 2 weeks, sales will start flying when people get afraid of missing out.

Exploiting the fear of missing out was practically all I inferred after I first read Drop's launch announcement.

It will be quite the race for me between drop's deadline and me getting enough reliable reviews that I'm not feeling completely blind about this.

Man people take this stuff seriously.

Im sitting here thinking...

All I know is I love my $1700 HD800S. Take away the $300 cable or whatever to say the headphones are $1400....and look at this, 8xx is a new tuning offering in response to OUR community’s feedback.

What you say? It’s $1100? Nice! They shaved a few hundred off to a potentially improved model for my taste? 😃

Wait...people think that’s expensive for a 800S?

Am I taking crazy pills to actually enjoy this development?

Free returns, $200 back in store credit, 2-year warranty that matches Sennheiser’s, and repairs offered out of warranty at a price (as with all sennheiser products).

And now this event has triggered people to criticize the whole brand and other product developments?

You people are mad!

you do know the price to physically make HD800S is probably less than $200 in material and labor right?
