Kimber Axios - copper. Funny thing, when I first got it I felt it was a bit stiff. Now I feel like it's just right and my Forza AudioWorks cables are too supple.

There is a 99% chance there will be no successor. If you don't get one now, you probably will never have one.

That doesn't mean there is a zero chance, but it is very unlikely. There have been no upgrade for the TA-ZH1ES either and this one will get an update before the DMP-Z1

I recently got a dmp-z1 and have it connected to a mac mini m1 running Sonoma (14.5) via a usb-c cable running roon server. I enabled the device, but can't get it to work with exclusive mode enabled (no audio coming out). With it turned off, I changed the settings to 24bit / 192kHz and it works. However, roon does not report it's lossless, but I assume it's still able to play at 24bit 192kHz.

Does anyone know why exclusive mode does not work for the dmp-z1? My mjolinr works fine as well as other dacs I have plugged into it.

Well, I am back at using my DMP-Z1 after a month of vacation and not being at home... I turn it yesterday in the night and it had 64% battery charge
