Man so much has been posted since last night!

OK I spoke to Igor from K Works Audio this afternoon. He is not so much a computer-attached-to-hip guy as his workebench is already is attached there. He's been wanting to post but has been too busy trying to keep up with his work. So, he told me what he's bringing: Modded SuperBerry DAC, Trends 10.KW (UD-10) USB converter and Wadia 170i iPod dock. His Silver Shadow Coax digital cable, Golden Heart USB cable, Golden Heart Analog interconnects and some headphones he's recabled. Don't ask, just wait and see.

As for my list I'll add my Dell C800 laptop, Sony D-EJ721 portable, Cardas wired HD600's and my wife's Audio Technica ATH-AD500's. (Leaving my SR125's home as they were totally embarassed by K works recabled SR60's at the last NJ meet.)

REMINDER: Don't forget to bring your favorite LP for a listen.

UPS delivered! New, totally silent PC, fanless, solid state disk, very small footprint, made by Unicomp Labs. Half the price of Stealth or Hush. Built-in dual monitor support DVI/VGA/S-video, WiFI with neat antenna, Ethernet, Serial, USB. Got here late, but have put foobar and some 24/96 FLACs on it.

Has one empy PCI slot, put in the modded M-Audio 192 (mod by Drew/moon-audio) sound card, it all works, amazing. Will be my source for tomorrow, S/PDIF into Benchmark DAC-1 modded by ASi Tek, then to QES bal amp, driving 880/600 and Senn 600 balanced.
