I'm with you (all of you!) It is astounding to me that there's not a Head-Fi meet in NYC. (In a city like NY I'd think a CanJam would be appropriate!) Is there any way we can make this thing happen??

The few I've been to are basically low key, self supporting affairs. To do one in NYC would require heavy duty subsidizing, a program with ads, admission fees, advertising. Doable, if someone would want to do it, but a big job.

I plan to attend as usual with good bud Steve, LTSFBH. The hard part is to decide what to have on display, may keep it simple again but interesting I hope. The Stax SR Sigma was a big hit as was when I only brought a rig to run my Stax SRX Mk3 Pro, rare bird that it is, got a lot of positive feedback on that.

Perhaps a longshot, but does anyone who is attending have a pair of JH Audio Layla Universals that they wouldn't mind bringing? I've been trying to demo these for a while, with no luck...
