I want to attend :)      Been to a similar meetup in Dallas area 5 years ago, about 30 people in a room.   Wow this one is much larger!

Just to confirm, this doubletree hotel is near SFO correct? Walking distance from the terminal i presume?

The Double Tree is in Burlingame, and would be about a 2-3 mile walk, but I wouldn't recommend it.  There are free shuttles from the airport that service most of the hotels in the area though.

From the web site...

Overlooking the scenic San Francisco Bay, the DoubleTree by Hilton San Francisco Airport Hotel is located just two miles south of San Francisco Airport (SFO) in Burlingame, CA, offering complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle service.

Wow it's local. The Hotel also has a free shuttle to BART, one of our rapid transit systems. Taking a cab between Burlingame & SF will run about $35-$40 bucks, so if you're planning to spend a lot of time in SF outside the meet up you might want to find a hotel near BART in town.

Sort of a late "request"... but if anyone has an LA-7000 I'd like to compare them to the stock D7000.

This is something I'd like to sort out as well.

I think I remember some pages ago someone will bring the LA7000. I had read several comparison threads and according to them overall, LA7000>D7000. This is the perfect opportunity to compare mod vs. stock D7000 because in reality, the LA7000 is actually a love-or-hate pair of headphones when compared to D7000 (about less than 1 out of 10 LA7000 owners/ex-owners prefer D7000 over LA7000).

If someone owns Sony MDR-CD3000 and doesn't mind bringing it over to the meet, I would love to have another listen to it.
