Hi Phil. Yes. I tried it with it uncovered to start with. I couldn't tell any difference. So to make it look nicer I covered it. I could uncover the hole in 2 minutes but I'm happy with it as is. Some may prefer the sound with the hole exposed. Maybe my ears aren't quite as perceptive as I thought. Comfort and isolation are the main irritants for me after living with these for so long . Sound quality is still great

It's a custom job like no other - cos it's my very own DIY custom. And it took hours and hours to get to that finish let me tell you. I'm working with a remouldable material. No one else is doing this , as far as I'm aware. No visit to the audiologist was necessary. No wait for someone else to do them. And no £150 bill. The specifics I'm going to keep under wraps. Just in case I start my own business and make a fortune from it
Very cool DIY! Is the moulding removable if necessary?Thank you Phil. The best mods are always from the DIYers

Thank you . Yes . This has been very much a trial and error. I've removed 2 different molds from them
What goodies are inside of this one?
This will become the worlds cheapest earphone with planar technology. 8mm planar tweeter and 6mm dynamic.

finally they arrived ...compared to my older eamt 3w
OBravo eamt2c it's very easy to drive them.... This surprised me the most even such "old" nwz 1061 drives them from 24/30 (volume level) is loud 30/30 extremely loud ,with wm1z 4.4mm 78/120 very loud .
Previous model eamt 3w with wm1z 4.4mm 110 /120 and my x1061 could not drive them

I'm waiting to hear the famous "0" too
But I don't think that a few minutes in a noisy environment can do them justice, as this kind of beats needs a proper setup in an isolated room such as the Sennheiser HE-1 or Shangrila.
On first listen, it took me about a few seconds to realize what I'm hearing, the Obravos are the first pair of iems that brings up a total immersion on Pink Floyd's DSOTM, I can hear new details that I never heard on any pair of iems, including the KSE1500 and JH Layla. The soundtstage on this thing is 360, I can sometimes hear background voices coming from a lateral position as if they were hidden behind my shoulder. All albums will sound like "binaural" even if they aren't, there's definitely some kind of magic that you won't find elsewhere. I wish that you can have this kind of experience and in your place I would fight for a demo session at the earliest
which version of the Obravo in ear did you tested ? was it a RA version ? I start to get lost with all the versions available of their versions ! ( including the latest 10.000 $ RA-C-CU version for which I really can't find any way to justify the price (twice a Stax SR009 !!)

If anybody wants the PERFECT amp to drive the Obravo IEMs, please check my signatures. I tested the RA on this amp and it was night and day. Unfortunately, I don't have much use for it.
Has anyone got an opinion on ERIB-3? Identical driver configuration to ERIB-2, but in a different form factor.
