O2 + Schiit Modi. No kidding.

Unfortunately I am limited to those 2 options because of my budget.(i can get them for 100-120$ used). So basically my question is which one would be better: the amp/dac (e7+e9) or just of o2 amp.

I really appreciate all your help

Uhm... if you're just gonna get the O2 amp then you're pretty much going to be using the DAC from your Macbook. The E7 + E9 combo would easily be much better then, since the E7 > Macbook.
 
Amp wise alone, the O2 is cleaner and has a lower output impedance.
