I know it is manufactured by the same guy, but are there any differences between the two?
 
Im looking for a decent amp/dac for my headphone PC and 5.1 dolby speaker
 
will i be able to link any of the combo into my Logitech z5500 speakers with Optical plug (forgot the real terminology)

Choosing between the O2 and the ODAC or the combined O2/ODAC is your own preference.
I have both O2 and ODAC and that way it's easy to combine one of the two with another DAC/AMP. The combo should provide this as well though. When I got the O2, there was no ODAC.

They should be identical. JDS and Epiphany are distributing the same design.

I don't think there's a line-out connection on the O2+ODAC combo.
