Sorry you missed this opportunity, I do plan to make the Spring meet if possible and can bring them again. PM where you are located, perhaps we can catch up before then. :).
BTW, I had a pair of AKG K1000s at my table, a small Jolida integrated tube amp and two sets of Stax headphones (earspeakers) for sale among other items in case you may have noticed.

Hey guys I was wondering why I had no notifications from the meet thread!
I just now see this new thread lol.
It was another great meet the room seemed more full and very nicely laid out thanks to Mullet for excellent choice of location. And the pizza did help alot!lol thanks Mr Woo.
I was so intrigued with all the fancy gear there that I didn't get to chat enough as the day seemed to pass by like water and hopefully next time I can chat and gain all the priceless insights from the great members there. It was really special to hear all the impressive stuff I can't even begin to say. Sometimes words cannot describe the level of beauty I herd in those setups. Needless to say it is an "ear" opener and was glad to make it.
Hope to see and say hello to everyone next meet :)

I have to make it down there next year.  It's a 2.5 hour hike for me from Upstate NY but likely worth the effort.

It will be,nothing like a meet you will be glad you made the hike afterwards.

That's mighty kind of you to offer.  I don't mind stating my location but I'll PM so as not to derail with thread any more with off-topic posts.  Don't tempt with those those items for sale.  Many are on my 'want' list but I really have to stop buying mid to mid-high priced items so I can purchase one or two super high price items I have my eye on.

Can anyone post an impression on the geek prototype?

Also,

If anyone that took a listen to it could reply to this survey I am collecting data to send to the developers.

I heard that they produce bass with authority and good soundstage, but do you like the 3d feature and how is the level of detail from this dac/amp?

3D feature not enabled on the Beta Unit.

I'll comment on the detail soon, I wanna spend some more time with it this weekend

  Thanks for sharing.
Who built these HE90, SR007 clones (how)??  Impressive DIY effort from the looks of them.

Those were built by me. There's a fairly extensive thread about DIY electrostats here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/498292/my-diy-electrostatic-headphones

The diaphragms are 2 micron mylar (going to work on perfecting 1 micron soon), and stators and the inner protection plates are made of CNC milled FR4 copper clad. I've been working on changing to a more rigid and flat material for the stators but that is still a work in progress.
