also based on your description of the sound you're looking for, i think sennheiser hd 600/650 would definitely be something you would like. also check out AKG Q701, with a nice tube amp it has warm mids, great treble without being bright, and neutral but well controlled and textured bass, wide soundstage too.
the sennheiser hd 600/650 are very well balanced as well and easy to like, warm but neutral, with the hd 650 being slightly warmer with more bass.
