Hi

I am new to the entire audiophile thing, my first proper headphones were the sennhiser hd555, yesterday I ordered the denon AHD2000, I was told that an amp would make it sound better

Can anyone help me chose or tell me if I even need one

I listen to most of my music and watch movies on my pc and iPod/iPad and am looking for something not too expensive

I appreciate any help

Note : stupid auto correct ... Noon = noob

thanks for the reply

About the budget, I am not sure how much good amps cost but I think 100$ is what I am willing to pay unless I need to pay more
If the sound quality is the same a portable one won't be so bad but I assume that isn't the case
