Noble Audio - Introducing KAISER ENCORE and SAGE

Universal

To be honest, it's the only way I roll. I can only speak for myself and my own personal experience. With that said, I don't care much for the way customs fit my ears. I think it has to do with my ear's shape. I've gone the custom route a couple times only to end up with earphones that I can't wear for extended periods of time, or they cause vacuum/pressure issues while wearing them.

If I ever do go custom again, I might give Noble a try this time around. It might have been the company I ordered from, or possibly a bad mold the last time I tried.

Has anyone purchased custom tips for the new Noble universals? Been thinking of grabbing some for the Sage but have no experience with custom tips. Any input?

Kidney harvested almost fully healed, foot tapping, Black Friday ordered, still waiting for the green light on delivery in the great white north. All good things tho...

I think Black Friday (or the remote chance of an act of benevolence from someone who maybe doesn't get on with them fit wise), will probably be my only route in. It's going to be a long wait.....

My Encores (Noble's photos that they sent during the build).  Have had them for several days.  Early impressions:

Absolutely beautifully made, very very high quality.  I've had other customs from top-tier makers and these are the only ones where I've got no question at all from the outset that they fit and seal correctly.

They sound incredible, almost unbelievably so.  They're perfect, to my ear, at all the frequency ranges, and imaging, texture, and space are just fantastic.  Much more like a top-flight open headphone than an IEM.  I really wouldn't have believed it was possible.  They seem perfectly balanced to me - nothing's overly emphasized - but the tonal quality of the bass is particularly jaw-dropping, as with the texture of the notes and string noise on upright bass.  It's surreal to get that from an IEM.

They're easy to drive.  They sound great out of a Hugo but also great out a Touch.  Don't seem fussy at all that way.

They did seem to take a couple of days to settle in, and to my ears started out somewhat veiled.  That went away with a couple of days burning in.  (No interest in starting a debate, just reporting what I heard.)

Very, very happy...
