Hi, I am looking for a high quality pair of headphones that would perform EXTREMELY well on an Ipod. Yes, I know it is the norm to bring about a portable amp with you in shuch situations, but I do not like extra weight; as evidence of my Rolex sitting on my desk at all times. I have no preference towards it being open back or closed back seing as sound quality, build, and durability are my main concern. Also my prefered sound signature is neutral or oh so slightly warm. At the moment I am looking at the following:
 
Ultrasone Edition 8
Ultrasone Signature Pro
Beyerdynamic T5p Tesla
Grado PS1000
Grado GS1000i
HE-400
Denon D2000
 
It should also be noted that I am, very much so, open to suggustions.

JH13's or UERM's.  You're not going to get the same level of sound quality, durability, and portability from any full size + ipod.

I would still state a strong preference towards CIEM's.  If you like neutral to slightly warm the JH13 is a great option.
