Glad you brought this along. Was really impressed with this guy and I'm sure it's going to be really popular once more people get to hear it!

Had a great time at the meet! So cool to see everyone having a good time and checking everything out. :gs1000smile:

Everyone I talked to who heard the Magni Piety came away pretty impressed by it. I think Christian has a real winner here! :L3000:

@atomicbob posted impressions and measurements at SBAF.:
“Piety often felt as if it was a skillful combination of the powerful bass reminiscent of EC 300B, magic mid-range of SW51+ and high end transient response usually associated with Cavalli amps. I will be acquiring several for my lab.”

Does anyone know how many Piety headphone amplifiers are going to be manufactured? 500? 1000?

Excerpt from latest Nitsch Piety update email (see attached). I rarely get excited about amps or DACs (mostly because Im cheap) but Piety looks like an awesome value (it's schitt based so duh) with a particularly sweet sound for little dough.

From SBAF:

I have an OG Magni 3 and a Magni 3+.

The piety has less power and may not be the best for really low impedance planars.
This was discussed at the other site somewhat.

IMO for $149 there is more than enough power for 95% of the headphones out there.
I cant wait to get one in house to compare to the other Magnis and the Vali 2 +

These will sell out !!

Is there any updates to this? I'm sure I'm not the only one checking on this everyday...

According to Cee Tee, the Piety should begin shipping sometime in November 2022...

How do you think this would do with an LCD-5 (14ohm, 90db/mw)

The LCD-5 may be a tougher nut. Its sensitivity is 90 dB/mw. For the LCD-4z and LCD-X, the sensitivities are 98 dB/mw and 103 dB/mw. 🤷🏻‍♂️

People are saying that the hugo 2 is a good source for LCD-5 and provides a similar amount of power according to specs. At $150 I don’t have much to lose trying it!

So, after hand screwing hundreds of screws in all these amps, how is your physical therapy working out!

Alex
“I dunno, it’s screwing me up!” 🤣🤣🤣
