Nice! I've used both a PowerPlant 3 and PowerPlant 12 from psaudio with very good results. But your mileage may vary, depending on what the power into your home looks like.

Ignore the chi-fi DAC. It is just a provost (Denafrips Venus II 12.1 is on it's way).
I let the Niimbus play this way at least for 100 hours before I get into a longer listening session.....
All I can say for the moment - everything is working....
....and I still like this oldschool industrial look of this thing

Got a Lab12 Gordian in today, so will hopefully get a pretty good idea of the current in here through it. over the weekend. Will also get a Puritan PSM156 in a couple of weeks, then decide which one fits better with my gear. While I do believe that cables and current play a significant part in the audio chain, I’m super curious about the audible effects these new boxes (and associated power cables) will have… Will be happy to share my learnings in the appropriate thread

Meanwhile, my VC just sounds AMAZING with the US5, as does the Bokeh in it’s own right.

Been listening to a lot of Black Keys the last two days, which synched perfectly with the VC. Right now, it’s Picaresque by the Decemerists, where I rotated in the HD820 and E3, which both sounded hollow and or harsh in comparison, so happily back to the VC now for the Mariner’s Revenge Song

I like Ohio Players alright, incl the expansion in sound, but enjoy the old ones a lot more. Realized that I only had Magic Portion in physical form, though I could have sworn that I had more of them, so got the 10 year anniversary LPs for Brother and El Camino and threw in Delta Kream for good measure!

Couldn't agree more I didnt like Turn blue at the begining but with time they landed in top 3 of their album. Maybe I will appreciate Ohio Players more with time
