Butastur keeping me company at work today. While I wait patiently for more early adopters to talk to, here's my chain: DX300 (Amp12) > EA Cadmus 8W > Pentaconn COREIR Brass. Such a balanced, spacious and resolving sound.

It works tonally but the fit in ear and on the IEM isn't perfect. It's the added length/rigidity of the brass insert and also that the barrel of Coreir is just slightly too small, as usual.

H570, Softears UC and KBear 07 seem to work the best for me.

I have not claimed that it is a lie at any time. I only commented on the possibility that it was, and also clearly said that I did not believe it was so.

Anyway the 20th is this Sunday, in 2 days. We will leave doubts soon.

I haven't seen any DTE900 impressions yet, but there's definitely butastur owners who also own - or have owned the SR8 also. I'm sure they'd be happy to give you some comparison impressions.
