I think I might get the Lea. They just released the hz sound waist drum, with the trn ta1 max coming. They making better planars too. Wanna get something before the next new iem wave pops off, because I wait for reviews before buying things.

Note:
The NICEHCK Audio F1 PRO is $99.99, but the Cyan (blue) cable comes extra if you choose the package deal.

First impressions NICEHCK Audio F1 PRO 14.2mm Planar IEM:
Included 4.4mm cable + extra 4.4mm Cyan cable:

NICEHCK Audio will included the Cyan cable as a package deal, meaning you get a discount if you buy both. Yet the regular cable is super nice, meaning there are sonic improvements to the Cyan cable but they are not necessary to enjoying the F1 PRO for what it is.

What is it?
This new edition showcases a 14.2mm Planar Diaphragm Driver in a gorgeous sold metal encasement. The regular IEM only comes in at $99.99.........and seems like a excellent deal, especially when you factor in the sound quality, build quality and included extras.

How's it sound:
Big smooth imaging and a mainly forward midrange yet way smoother than (as an example the SIMGOT EA1000) with primarily sub bass emphasis over mid bass emphasis. The full-on value here comes from timbre, where I don't seem to hear the planar timbre normally provided? That and really everything (tone wise) has been done just right. The Cyan cable provides a small extra push in the bass, along with stage width.......but mainly you are going to get a warm-up where I feel the Cyan cable is going ahead and utilizing more copper........at least that what it sounds like. :)

Functionality:
I stayed with the TANGZU DIVINUS VELVET ear-tips as I seemed to get great synergy? Both the HiBy R3 II DAP and Sony WM1A DAP were great with both cables and my choice of normal silicone wide-bore ear-tips................and the TANGZU DIVINUS VELVET ear-tips?

With that said, the F1 PRO seemed to totally fit better with the VELVETs? Yet, normally fit was incredibly good, as was the many variations of playback I heard. Meaning maybe due to the smooth yet clear tune, the F1 PRO seemed to work well with both DAPs and both cables, yet I have to say the TANGZU DIVINUS VELVET ear-tips were the best. :)

Keep in mind NICEHCK Audio is a cable manufacture too:
On the surface this may not seem like a big deal, yet both cables are extremely nice, way nicer than what is normally included with a IEM of this caliber. Well done coded red/blue rings around the plugs, superior finish and construction. Though to be truthful I've never seen a cable like the Cyan before.......having an almost furry disposition? HAHA

How do I sum up the NICEHCK Audio F1 PRO?
A great value even before burn-in. Really this sounds like way more IEM than simply $100 would get you. But more than that in was both easy going and dramatically positioned in playback, getting thrills and accessible replay any which way I wanted to go?

Great fitting

Cheers! :)

Edit:
I still have to put emphasis on the tips they give you in the package too. The clear silicones, the copies of the Black Sony Ear-tips, the three sets of included grey tips, all were really good, and really special for this level of pricing.

Basically they are giving you a full set of EP-EX11 clones which are so close to the originals, I have to keep them separated! :)

Such ear-tips enhance bass levels, and with the over-all style they are a great feel and fit!

Edit 2:
They have also copied Sony with the Fibonacci Grill!

Oh great to hear that your first impressions were good. Have you (or will you) be doing a full proper review on these? seems interesting. I don't have a planar; wondering if this could be the first one.

So first impressions: NiceHCK DB2
Really for under $20 these are very good. On Rock they lack a slight bit of vividness and authority which in comparison to more pricey options is totally understandable.

So Rock they kinda show their slight weakness in form, but this OST is completely amazing.......where the complete stature of how the bass kicks and midrange flows is something that you couldn't guess how much these IEMs retailed for. Listening to a song like "Dust" is fully an experience. Where somehow the timbre is super nice? Yes a slight tilt except it adds spacial qualities. Remember this is only 1DD and 1BA.....when the cellos come in somehow totally blended? The bass at 04:51 very extended and deep? They simply do this style of music best and are lacking a little authority for rock, but here they are really some of the better examples of what a $19.99 IEM can do. The color purple. DIVINUS VELVET Tips and SIMGOT LC7 cable in 4.4mm with Sony WM1A and MrWalkman's firmware.

The Jialai Carat v NiceHCK Himalaya

The Jialai Carat is a fully accomplished HARMAN, and still very different from anything I have ever heard. It is just like the Himalaya in that the imaging is totally special for a single DD. A lot smaller than the Himalaya yet still in contast to those diminishing returns that you get by bumping up to the Himalaya. Where sure there is a more involving stage found in the Himalaya mountain range? It is that there is way more expanded midrange involvement like forever...........and ever....with treble details and imaging.

But really the Himalaya makes the Jialai Carat sound almost (almost) dull in comparison. Like the Himalaya is for the older gent with less treble hearing who still wants to play ball and the Jialai Carat is for that young whipper-snapper who has all their hearing, but not the pocket lint for the Himalaya. But you could call the Jialai Carat warmer and cozier, where the Himalaya is reaching for the peaks, the peaks of the mountains that is...............where the Himalaya is way bigger (in size) and has many a more involved semi-custom fit, also the Himalaya is 12 grams each, where the little Jialai Carat is only 5 grams each. Where the imaging of the Himalaya holds infinite treble details and specialist separation there, the Jialai Carat simply offers a more run-of-the-mill set of details, yet gets its thrills by midrange openness and midrange offering fast imaging and items of entertainment. Sure you have an overall cooler sound to the Himalaya, yet both could be owned as complementary. As maybe you don't want to leave the house and go out and about with the Himalaya, but find the weight and comfort good for traveling with the Jialai Carat.

Script from my post in the Discovery Thread yesterday:

Himalaya:
So I kinda look at this attainment of treble details as the inspiration for the name, as it is chilly here atop this here mountain and quite possibly cold, yet fresh and new. New like from an idea of being in a natural place like the mountains, being of purist timbre. They fit with the best of placement and I can use a number of ear-tips. Yet my favorite is wide-bore Silicones and that totally works to make the stage the biggest. Funny part was I was able to get great results from any source, and while the Himalaya showed the tonal differences of various sources, it wasn’t finicky to needing any one source? At the moment I’m using the new Penon Type-C Dongle with the ISN GC4 cable, though I’m sure the included NiceHCK cable will be super great, I’m trying that tomorrow. How do I even know it will be good? Because already every single one of the cables I have used has been great. I’m still burning this sucker in, but I can’t believe how it could get better?

Just a wide stage, where there seems to be emphasis is how the midrange is developed and positioned? Allowing for both a width and size tallness, even front to back here. It is an audio microscope which has you question the reason why you would ever use any other IEM. Like since the Himalaya mountains are big and tall, you have finally climbed them and don’t need to look any longer for any where else to go, you have reached the top of the mountain, and you are a part of this thing, this wild DD detail thing?

Each tone is highlighted and these now show the details only thought of coming from BA drivers, except they are here now with a DD, minus the off timbre, so I have a feeling that while not perfect, this is one of the best IEM replays you can find at any price. It was that the F1 Pro had the bass and special power lower mids, then this Himalaya tone takes care of the rest. With that said this is a far walk from what the F1 Pro was striving for, simply because the stage is more open than a planar can do. Yet there are transients that put the pants on almost everything under $600? Those transients combined with the exact tone here make for (somehow) never ending fun. I mean it has been a while since I have been blown away this far from an IEM, like maybe three days? Ha yet here is very different personality than I have ever encountered before. Like the timbre is totally correct yet the thing that gets me are the subtle, correct and vibrant way the cymbals are done, and not just the cymbals but the actual reverberated echos in the room (from those cymbals) and the wholesome placement of how everything is completely connected and true to form. Now if there is a color here it is a slight upper tonal boost, yet that’s what makes it new and fun, like I’m in the actual Himalayan mountains? And the added theme here is watch-out as you are 100% guaranteed to hear a new sound from an old recording that you never heard before. As such that sound may be a single cymbal hit that the producers wanted itemized into the stage, but you never had IEMs that could actually do exactly what the Himalaya does, so you simply never heard it before? I know I sound like I’m high or something, but (I had only) only 1/2 a glass of Lipton tea? Wild, rarely am I ever moved by such a new IEM, though it is probably because I have never heard such details before, and I am thrilled and in awe of such things. As such even piano chords and guitar bar chords are clear showing the harmonic complexity and sheen held by the instruments in use. What can I say, this is like a whole new world, for me?
