It is $200 right now + $36 shipping to USA I think. Is it worth it? It has dual wolfson dac chips and I'm eager.

I have the NFB-12 and use as a dedicated DAC. Definetely worth it.

Nope. Price was always $200 and will go up in the near future. Because the pormo has been around for quite some time now.

It's been that price for as long as I can remember.  And yeah, it's well worth the money.

pardon my interruption, would these better than new receivers around the same price these days? sound quality wise, cuz im planning to get active speakers with these.

yes, at the same price these would be better. It's the same amount of money going into fewer parts of higher quality, and it's purpose built as a dac and headphone amp. No money is spent on the stuff you don't need! My audio-gd fun works well as a preamp and dac for my powered speakers and supposedly the NFB12 sounds identical.
