OT, how did you get such a deal from Linsoul? With the discounted gift cards?
Yep. They announced a bundle of the LZ A7 with their new Tripowin cable for $285, and I snagged a $100 for $50 card earlier so I am a happy camper. Free DHL shipping too.

Talking about filters, I'm really curious which ones you just put on your nm2+? Would love to try that mod on them especially for even more timbral accuracy.
I can do in-depth step by steps, but sadly you will need to purchase the IT00 to replicate this mod.

use crazy glue to seal it in place

I like this mod even though any damping materials in front of the nozzle is considered subtracting. I don’t feel like I am loosing any resolution compared to the Tanchjim filter mods (nylon filter directly attached on top of NM2+‘s nozzle filter). My guess is there is enough gap between dust filters for sound waves to pass through without much compression and creating distortions.

How do you like the sound of the Tanchjim filter on the NM2+ nozzle?

Tonally identical, but subjectively I prefer the IT00 filter mod slightly more as it retained (in my opinion) dynamics and micro details of the original.
I felt that Tanchjim filter compressed the sound little bit for reasons unknown. (It could very well be my mood or hearings that day)

Ok, I’m pretty sure that the NM2+ is my favorite IEM for female vocals thus far. I just can‘t not love the sound of this IEM. That being said, I can certainly understand some not liking/tolerating the sound of the upper midrange.

In 2 days time I will be able to pair my nm2+ with the os849. Soo far it has expanded the stage, give the sound more natural body and smoothed out the sound without sounding dull on the other iems I have tried it with. What cable you got on them right now?

I’ve been using the copper/silver blend stock MEST cable.
