These Tau seem visually almost identical to Meelec M6

the signature tau looks like a meelec m6 ripoff. The marcus that looks like a silver bullet replacement doesn't have the attractive look of the bullets unfortunately.

Copying the Klipsch Image stress reliefs is a huge mistake btw.  Maybe I should get the DBAs before Fisher turns into Skullcandy.

I don't think using the same parts supplier or OEM can be counted as copying. If you search around, you will notice FA has been using generic housing for almost all their headphones before they even came to Head-fi. It is a great way to save money since no custom mold or extra design work are needed.

If you look at it closely it's actually the same housings as the Earpollution Nerve Pipes / Panasonic RP-DJ120 which coincidentally shattered at the hinges on the first trip from my desk to my (carpeted) floor.
