Basically... I'm a metalhead. I DO listen to just about all genre's of music like rap, classic rock, dubstep, trance, and so many other genres of music its ridiculous. So to give you an example of how much music I enjoy I have 17,000 songs+.

However my most favorite genre of music has always been the heavier side... I love metal and pretty much most sub-genres. I'd say I highly enjoy progressive, folk, melodic death, and especially technical death metal.

So far I've found several pair's that seemed interesting to me but its hard to make up my mind when the only headphones I have experience with are my absolutely terrible iPod headphones that came with my iPod classic. I honestly can't stand these things because I have to constantly reposition them to listen to music or when I'm walking around and especially at the gym.

So here's a list of what IEM's I came up with that others have praised that may suit my needs.

That's all I have right now but if you guys have any other suggestions then please let me know! I'm looking to purchase something that will last me :)

Maybe lJokerl's multi IEM review thread could help. It has almost 300 IEMs for comparison now.

I actually pulled one or two IEM's from that thread and all the comparisons.

I made this thread because some IEM's are more suited for different things and a lot of people in here seem to have experience with these high quality IEM's.
