Hi Guys,

For my very first post, I've got a silly question, sorry : I've received my Z1 yesterday and wanted to charge it immediatly...but I've been surprised to discover that once plugged, there was no charging indication via the LED...is it normal ? This LED seems to react correctly for the other functions : slow blinking during play, solid when in pause or without memory card. I've also updated the firmware like explained at the beginning of this thread but it didn't help.
Maybe, I missed something ?

there is a led at the bottom of the player when you charge it, not the top front. if it's not lighted up, it means its either defective or the battery is full

Mouser has very expensive shippings in netherlands, 20€ for every order below 50€, is it bad to get the LME49720HA on ebay or aliexpress?

My two new babies...

After a couple of tests, I'm seriously considering breaking up with my girlfriend, cause I have a new love... The Zishan sounds amazing. I have to admit that is the first time I try a good source, but... I'm simply astonished. The Z1 and the Takstar HI2050 make a perfect couple, It's smaller than I expected (It fits on the pocket perfectly) and it only costs 26€... Thank you guys for showing me this incredible DAP.

how do you mount LME49720HA on Zishan socket? sorry for noob question.

I have mine mounted in a 8 pin dip socket. You have to space the legs out like a standard opamp Ic and bend the legs and push it in the socket. It is a bit of a pain, but really no problem. You do have to make sure the can is pretty close to the socket when inserted in to the dip socket or you won't be able to close the case.

You need also to match the pin configuration of HA with NA. Same pin must go to the ic socket.

How does LME49720HA compare to Muses02? Is Muses02 the best of them all?

It's available from Mouser. I just got mine.

Did you mount the HA on a DIP header, or plug it directly into the opamp socket?
If it's on a header, will the cover go back on the Z1?

Thanks for the list. May I just ask if can you narrow it down into a shorter list, which of them is interesting to try on? I have a shortlist here, but I would like to know yours. Also I can't find a store that sells most of it, so I can save on shipping and costs.

Not sure I know someone on here posted their results and really liked the Muses 02. I do not have one to try, so I can't comment on it.

Mouser has expensive shipping everywhere. They allow you to place small quantity orders and have stock on many items and have to pay to process your order, pick it and ship it. That comes with a cost.

Thanks unfortunately HA CAN version is out of stock. So I ordered the pdip NA version.

ok, I just looked up what the HA version is, and um... do you need an adapter to mount it to the dip8 socket?
