Hi Everyone. Levin based headphoner here, currently using a pair of Senn's Hd580's and BB 2227 based Cmoy.

Did see those k701's on TM also, in fact statred at his $300 buynow for several hours while reading reviews, came to conclusion they may be a bit forward sounding for my taste.
but I did see they sold in the end for alot more then his initial $300 buynow.

Some guy sells them on TradeMe for $25! Aren't they free shipping from DealExtreme for US$8.50???

I know that guy. He pays the 12.5% GST on the Imports and the NZ taxes and the NZ Courier Fees and the NZ Customs Agent and the Trademe Fees and the fees if you use a credit card and the bank fees and the International Bank transfer fees and accepts the loss when the currency falls and answers the phone when you have a question and still provides a 12 months warranty and actually has black amplifiers in stock.

Do we really have to pay the 12.5% on an $8.50 item? Also, DealExtreme has free international shipping, oddly. And there are no additional credit card fees, unless you have a PrezzyCard or something. So, if he got them from DealExtreme and had to pay the 12.5%, it'd still be less than US$10 per amp which gives him a tidy profit. Which isn't wrong or anything, I just didn't want to pay that much. At any rate, I went ahead and bought one from him because I didn't want to bother with PayPal. Oh well.
