Just out of curiosity where are all the New Zealanders browsing head-fi?? Are there any at all? Seems to be a lack of all the top end cans walking the streets in this country that i hear of elsewhere leading me to think we are small in number.

Also anyone know of a good place to purchase/test ride decent cans or amps?? jb hi-fi has a serious lack of anything without a sennheiser brand on it (unless you count 'skullcandy' as heaphones)

Will be good to see just whose out there and what equipment you all hold so dear

Which is where (to answer your question) most of us live now days...

Perreaux have some nice NZ made amps, and the Plinius range is impressive (though expensive).

haha quite true, not all to hard to see why tbh.

Plinius are indeed making nz proud but places for testing or viewing even are seriously lacking, if around at all from my knowledge.

Would be fantastic if such a place existed as I'm sure they must. I'm not asking for a Yodobashi's in NZ, a small little grotto hidden away somewhere would suffice.

How do you all get around the whole 'won't send overseas' growing popularity? Not exactly many nz distributors

It's not TOO hard to find sellers on the FS forums willing to ship here... Sadly some don't want to.

The community here is so good though. I've had people offer to purchase things in the USA that I can't get here, then send them over to me.
