  NZTF,

Can you advice what time should I go to the venue if I plan to bring my gear along? Thanks.

You have PM.

Awesome! Will be nice to hear its treble-shelved non-fatiguing signature, even if that ain't for me.

sounds like a plan! Haven't been to the Bramble in Onehunga before!

Excellent!

BTW, you should just commit to amping the HE-6, still better than the new HiFiMan cans and better than the entire Audeze range :)

Will there be WiFi or cabled internet available at the venue for use of the various music streaming services out there?
Also, if I bring gear along, should I be showing up earlier than the opening time?

Looking forward to tomorrow guys.

I will be bringing the Bushmaster MK2 DAC/Headphone Amp, my budget cans (Superlux), Macbook Pro and a multiboard (hopefully that should cover it)!

I am really looking forward to trying out some contenders to beat my fav cans (up to now) HD800's so I will checking out the Audeze rang and the Hifiman cans

See you tomorrow :)

Just wanted to wish you guys a wonderful day.  Hopefully if this becomes an annual event, I'll be there next time.

Please take plenty of pics - so I can be envious of what I've missed out on

And thanks NZT - from the looks of it, you've done a superb job with the organizing.

Got my A900X from the courier this afternoon. So stoked that they arrived before the meet :D They are simply amazing to listen to.

Nice to hear you're enjoying your new cans (I remember your thread on GPForums).

I hope I make it in time for the meet. Have a birthday function to attend earlier in the day and I'll be walking to the venue from Greenlane Train Station (lol).
Looking forward to hearing impressions of the meet regardless though :)

Just borrowed some Merak monoblocks to run my HE-6 off tomorrow (200W/channel into 8ohm). Should be interesting!

Yikes. I'll bring a feather to control the volume.

Heh, dialling back the Vega digital volume to 85 (no bit truncation at that level) there is enough play on the volume control. For some Pink Floyd recordings I even got to about 11:30 on the dial last night.
