Version 5.7.5 works on SR25.

Yes, I believe that the SR25, Kann Alpha and SE200 use an Android 9 variant so no issue with these devices. Anything older than the SR25 (May 2020) is likely impacted, including the SP series.

What about embedded Deezer app? I have hifi subscribtion and I can't log in either through app or AK Connect.

@JasonNYC Do you know whether the AK engineers specifically included a fix in the latest firmware for the wifi issue? (causing the constant crashing) as so far my SP1k hasn't crashed once since the update.

Upgraded but can’t log in to Tidal: endless loop of log in screen (name + password) and captcha tiles .

Same thing happened to my SP1000. After downloading system version 1.61, I opened the embedded Tidal app and reached the login page. 2 seconds later this error message appeared “An error occurred to login. Please try again later.” After trying this 3x the ca tiles appeared.

It's been almost three months since the SP2000/1000 "Roon Ready" update and still no word on the SP1000M. What's going on?

Yeah, Astell & Kern remain very quiet about Roon on the SP1000M. Yet, the SP1000 has pretty much identical hardware and firmware (apart from storage capacity and screen size) and has received Roon support a while ago.

I really don't see what's the hold up here. Perhaps @JasonNYC can clarify?

The SP1000M cost twice as much as the Kann Alpha, which has already announced "Roon Ready" support. Very sad and unhappy customer here...

What's worse is that "Roon Ready" support was announced at the same time as the SP1000M. You would have thought it would be the first device...

real talk though, I do miss my SP1000M which I had for an year because it's actually portable and doesn't pull down your pants. Hope it gets roon ready soon to take it to the next level.
