No, It is not intuitive at all.
I wish cue files were visible in the other menus as well.
Most likely I use Artist search and it would be great to have it there as well.

Can you tell me the maximum supported MicroSD size of SP1000? Manual says 400gb. Does firmware updates have influence on capacity or is this port-related?

I have a sandisk 1 tb card and its working fine.

Has anyone ever had issues with a digital clicking sound while using SP1000M as USB Dac? Headphone is an DCA Ether 2 which is 22ohm and volume is at 130. I have also heard on my IEM

Hi , my sp1000 has been crash during the update process, but i find a way to access " u boot ", and i have update.hex from fw 1.31 .but I don't know how to use fastboot -> update from usb , I dont have a .img file to use a update from sd card . can't access Recovery == .every one help me == .

No longer limited with only using PS3 for the SACD ripping.
A compatible SACD player allows it to be ripped to ISO.

I've successfully backed up my SACDs using my Oppo 103AU. It doesn't take very long to rip. I convert the DSF file to FLAC for my SP1000M and I use the DSF files on my Auralic Aires.

2. I noticed that when I'm using this player as a USB Dac that I have clicking/popping, is this a known issue?

I don't stream and I don't use it as a DAC so can't answer. I'm certain someone else can. I saw a discussion about Spotify a few pages back as well, I think.

As to clicking in general, the device may make a click if it changes from one type of file format to another- say, from FLAC to DSD.

I've not heard about popping anywhere here.

You need to make sure you have the XAPK Installer installed on your SP1000M first.

If you have not installed the XAPK Installer, download XAPK Installer from this link - https://apkpure.com/xapk-installer/com.apkpure.installer

Copy to OpenService folder. Once it appears in the services menu on player, install the XAPK installer on the player like you would any other APK.

Copy the XAPK of the music service you would like to install to OpenService Folder.

Open XAPK Installer app in the services menu on the player. Choose the XAPK file you would like to install and click install.

Spotify is not available for download in the US or Canada at the moment. We are working on finding an alternative for users in those countries. Some people have been using a VPN to connect to APKPure with their location set as a country in Europe to download without issue.

I use the SP1000M regularly as a UBS DAC for my Windows 10 desktop and do not experience any pops or noise. Can you provide more information on what you are connecting to please? Feel free to PM me if you'd like to discuss off the thread.

I'm using A&K's own Van Nuys 3 split case. It does fit my SP1000+AMP, my LCDi4 and the USB cable. Pretty sure it would fit a small SSD as well.
