YES, 3.5 SE and 2.5 balanced. But less powerful than KANN. ( SP1000 offer: 2,2 v SE and 3,9 v Bal)

At this point I am actually quite surprised AK has yet to release a AK380/SP1000 power pack.

Yeah, and add a type-c connector with fast changing, then it will sell like hot cakes.

Mm..dockable battery bank should have its own software toggle switch in the UI, just like line out and balanced. Carbon fiber back to make it A&K classy. Love the idea. You can easily double the battery life of the 380 (or the SP 1000).

Umm if we want to consider its price, 3500 for SS version i can't understand why ak380 aluminum version was priced 3500.


Beside, its look is way anattractive. Good that they came with this, so i dont have to spend money.

I don't expect honests users to talk about any improvements, but let's sit and see.

Mm..A&K chose to discontinue the AK line and launch a new line (A&ultimate) for their TOTL DAP. For a company that has a proven track record of making some of the finest DAPs on the planet, I expect the SP 1000 to outperform the previous flagship, the AK 380s. I expect no less.

Apart from the DAP, the company is also coming out with a transportable desktop DAC/Amp. Not completely small and light like a Mojo. But small and light enough to be portable. Kinda like the same category as the Hugo or JDS Element, if you will. I believe this DAC/Amp would also come under the A&ultima series.
