alright, I was able to fix all my file/scanning media issues by cleaning up my tags and getting rid of all protected files....thnk you all for the suggestions...back to listening

PA. the click/noise is still an issue, but i'm fine as long as I use the balanced out. AK is looking into it!

Now we can using 4.4mm to enjoy music on SP1000 (including AK amp and other AK DAP product as well) by using PW Audio Adapter (AK 2.5mm + 3.5mm to 4.4mm female)
This adapter is not much expensive ($880 HKD)

Does anyone have any info on whether APK Tidal downloaded Master tracks are full MQA? The last discussion about it was before MQA unfold was available via software to all APK builds. So now that offline Tidal can download MQAs, does it truly play in MQA like the embedded Tidal app?

my downloaded tracks on my downloaded tidal app certainly doesn’t play at the same quality as the embedded app. Im having issues updating to the tidal version on my cube so this may be the reason, are sp1000 users having the same issue?

I am talking about the APKpure downloaded app. I don’t believe there is an update for the embedded one.

I have had the SP1000m for a little over a week and even though the GUI took a little bit to get the latest Tidal loaded, really impressed with this player. I upgraded from a Hiby R6 listening with BGVP DM7. Tonight listening to some old favourites that I am familiar with. Mike Oldfield and Tommy by the Who. Really impressed so far.
