Got Spotify up and running, beyond thrilled with this. Feel like I just got a whole new toy!

Seems Spotify saves to internal memory only, something to consider if you have a large library and are deciding between the SPK-M and SPK.

I also wish I could make the font of Spotify smaller but I think that's an in-app limitation. Another bonus where the bigger screen real estate is coming in handy.

Spotify can be saved to external memory also. In Spotify app - settings, storage (2nd to last setting), select SD card

1. Update firmware
2. Google pure apk
3. Search Tidal and download it
4. Copy to internal memory folder openservice
5. Look at service on ak device
6. Install it
7. Run the new app from you download
8. Now you can download

Got my SP1000 SS to replace my beloved AK380 last week, The WIFI's having issue since day one whenever it's connected via AK Connect or KEF Stream. The WIFI will just lose all signal and keep auto disconnecting after playing 1 song successfully. All devices are placed very close to the Router within the same room and all other devices have no WIFI issue at all. It didn't happen when I used the AK380 in the same way before at all... supposedly the SP1000 was set to always connect to WIFI. I'm very frustrated.

@Jason, will the app installed manually in the SP1000 be automatically updated in the future, or shall we do it manually ?

It has actually nothing to do with A&K. Qobuz still did not release the application with OpenAPK support, though they told me that they will release it very soon. By the way, I already tried the latest (version 5.0.1) Qobuz application on my SP1000M and confirmed that it does not work yet.

I have tried and Qobuz work absolutely fine:

I think the list is the APK Astell Kern tried and validated. Qobuz work absolutely without any problem. You just need 5 minutes to install. Great value for the SP1000.

Wow, interesting. I tried other applications and they did work but not Qobuz. Which version of the APK did you use?

I just found out that there is also an update for SP1000M, not just SP1000. I will report again after the update.
