why does it seem that the ZX700 is so much larger then the others?

Maybe it's the angle.

What's the sound difference?

and also if you can use beyer dt-250 velour pads on them. will greatly appreciate it!

Sorry for the delay guys. I have been busy playing with a Burson Audio HA-160D Headphones Amp & DAC. Burson Audio sent it to me for review. I get to keep it for two weeks. I am trying out these Sony and other entry level headphones with the $1200 amp. Please stay tuned for my impressions.
