Seems the site is displaying wrong right now. Like it's missing a stylesheet or something:

I use Samsung browser as well, and it was AdGuard content blocker that blocked the "like" and "share" functions. I disabled it, and all is well again in the world.

What happened to the Like button? Is that no longer a thing?

(browsing on mobile, Android 10, Samsung Internet browser)

There is no longer a like button on posts when using the mobile version of the site. I'm only seeing the report button. If we can only have one, I think it should be the like button.
Hi Head-Fi engineering team, regarding the like button disappearing issue (element blocked by ad blockers), I believe it's easily avoidable. The new forum code included the like button in the social bar section, which used a class name "socialBar" that is included in EasyList's "Fanboy's Annoyance List" (a list primarily used for blocking social media and page popups etc.). You can either move the like function out of the social bar, or just use a different class name for the social bar.

The site no longer displays my age on open-forum posts, only on PMs. Is that a conscious change, Joe?

Well, I went back on the "Listening To" forum and didn't see my age displayed (back to ~2016), although I thought it did in the past.
Here's a screen shot of one of my PMs.

Since the latest revision came out, it seems about a year ago, I don't get notification on several watched threads. Some I do, for a while and then new post notices just stop and some I don't get any notification either by email or even when clicking the notice bell. Example: I'm subscribed to the UM 3DT thread. This morning I decided to check in to that thread and saw that it had been pretty active. It shows that I'm "watching" but have had no notices either email or bell icon for a while. This is just one example, there are several threads like this for me..... Is it a know issue? Problem with my settings? Anyway, been wanting to report this for a long while and finally getting around to it.

It sounds like you may have Persistent Alerts disabled in your profile settings. By default, the system will only send one notification/alert when a new post is created and will not send any additional alerts until you visit the thread. Enabling persistent alerts will send an alert, and an email notification if that's been selected, for every new post in a thread.

Thanks to a few reports from the community, we discovered a bug with Head Gear that's preventing members from creating new gear entries. We have our team working on a fix now and will deploy it as soon as it's ready.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a bug report for the issue, we greatly appreciate it.

Edit: The fix has been rolled out. Thank you again to everyone for their patience.
