and Can the SRM 600 amp also power the closed 4070 phones...once the wife goes nuts

you could send a pm to tohenk2, the only one I know with the SRM600. Don't know if he got the chance to actually compare it to others, but I do know he heard the SRM-T1 and GES.

Yes. Any Stax amp with a "Pro" output can.

I like the Pro Only input on Stax amp. Whenever my friends want to have an audition on my Stax I can say to them "See? Pro only! Only Professional are allowed to listen to Stax" lol
