My 6 month old lab couldn't keep her mouth of anything or anyone =b. Damn sharp needles those things teeth were.

Agreed. My uncle has a pitbull (whose age I estimate to be at least 7 years) and she's one of the gentlest dogs I have ever played with. What more, she has been trained to fill up buckets with water and lock doors (the ones with big handles that dog's paws can handle anyway). She even lets me come close to her new-born pups (never tried to handle them since new-born mums are almost always aggressive towards those touching her pups, regardless of breed).

Edit: I should add though that my uncle is a professional dog breeder/trainer (don't know which really applies since he's been doing dogs long before I was born).
