What's your deal with this amp?

Out of 27 posts, you've posted links to it 25 times.

.....
and I'm not the only one!

Go figure.... (Just to clarify, I don't get any money by promoting this amp, I think it is valid, and post links, just as some other guy who bought it and promote it when they can)

Maybe an agenda?

I can see really enjoying an amp and letting people know about it, but it would seem that you almost exclusively post to promote the amp, which leads me (and others probably as well) to believe that you're a spammer ;p

That's what drives me up the wall, not knowing electronics design. I'm happy with career path (lawyer/accountant) but especially with new Chinese products I just can't tell if they're any good without buying them or having a listen - and I'm short on both time and money. I believe someone with a good grasp of amplifier design can have informed opinions from pics, if not know 100% about the amplifier.

what would be the difference between "monitoring" and "just" amplifying? that makes it seem like the "monitoring" is doing something extra to the signal, whereas the amplifying is only increasing amplitude....but maybe im barking up the wrong tree

And another thing...

There is inspired circuit designs from great designers, 47labs for example!

Then there are rip offs...

The two black things on the left are heatsinks which are cooling the chips underneath.

I believe I've been one of the first to get this amp when I had the studio. I was the first one to post here on the forum about it.
I was really pleased when I had it.
Glad I helped this comp. to get the attention it deserves.

And yes, my impression was based on listening tests.

Any amp can be said to be from the pro audio world if the marketing department chooses to promote it as such. Nothing different with this one. If you don't understand that then you have naïvely fallen for their 'marketing speak'.

With respect, that sounds a little arrogant.

OK, thanks for the tip.

Need less components.

It's a shame too, it doesn't monitor....it "just" amplifies

On the other hand, 500watts into 8 ohms is probably a bit much for your average headphone.

In case anyone's curious, it's a QSC RMX 2450
