The new Crossroad MylarOne 4 series has just been released, and renamed as Bijou (apparently it means 'jewel' in French). Improvements (as claimed) include strain relief, right angle jack, better cables and smaller earpieces. No picture yet but I guess it won't be long before someone post one up (will update when I find one). The initial batch is gunmetal in color and in small quantity.

I am not sure how well it will compare to the old MylarOne. Those of who are in doubt should wait for review before picking one up.

Some really quick photos. Haven't heard the original MylarOne before, haven't had time to listen to the Bijou, either.

They look similar in deign to the V-Moda Vibes and Denon series of IEM's. Are they meant to be any good?

These sound promising. I love my Mylarone classics - but they are a bit worn these days, tie clip has gone, top end frequencies are rattling a bit, left earpiece is held together with glue, but I still love them

Time for an upgrade?

The pictures you are showing look very much like the prototype MylarOne Petite that Uncle Wilson was showing at CanJam, he gave me a chance to listen to them while at the show … but my memory fails me now :/ … check this picture below and compare, same housing and cable, is it possible that the name "Petite" had negative connotations:

BTW, do you know what became of the detachable cable MylarOne’s that he was showing there as well?
