I was quoted 2.990 Euros from a local dealer in Austria, which does not seem unreasonable. Probably I'll pre-order soonish.

Not bad all things considered. I'm around that price range as well for the Middle East.I was quoted 2.990 Euros from a local dealer in Austria, which does not seem unreasonable. Probably I'll pre-order soonish.
@TSAVJason , any word on whether the the MHA200 will drive low impedance IEMs. I really want to buy this amplifier!

Need to compare with Feliks Euforia as well.

ill have production units soon. If it’s not killer on low impedance IEM’s I’ll be sure to let you know right away

That would seem to follow noting Euforia's high output impedance and relatively low power output, but over on the Euforia and Elise threads users are reporting good results with Empyrean and others. YMMV.I don’t know about the MHA yet, but the euforia definitely can’t handle any planars

Its probably not optimal but my Euforia drives my Diana V2, LCD2 closed and Sundara without distorting the bass or anything.
I was surprised my Diana sound pretty good (mind you I’m saying this without having tried them on a similar range SS) so you may be quite right.
What planars are you using?

I’ve got the Diana Phi and 1266TC as my headphones - the phi might just work but the 1266 will definitely not get what it needs from an EuforiaIts probably not optimal but my Euforia drives my Diana V2, LCD2 closed and Sundara without distorting the bass or anything.

Yeah, it can’t really handle those even though technically it should drive the 32ohm Phi (isn’t the Empyrean lower?) but wouldn’t be optimal.
But it handles the planars I mentioned and should be fine with most cans above the 32ohm impedance.
The only planar I’ve had no success with was the DCA Aeon 2 with 13ohms and 92db sensitivity
I know it borders with the V2 as well but it’s not bad at all IME.
Don’t mean to derail the thread.
This amp looks really neat and I like the small footprint just like the Euforia.

I reached out to McIntosh about low impedance capability (under 32 ohms), and here is their reply:
Hi John,
The MHA200 will work with low impedance drivers like EE Odin which is 3 ohms, but will deliver less than rated output. But even so, the output level and range that the MHA200 delivers should be many times more than ever needed.

Yup but as I said in an earlier post the question is how much lower is the level. I guess we’ll know that soon enough.

If I may ask a question:
Is the MHA200 a fully balanced amp?
Will it sound louder if you use the balanced inputs instead of the single-ended ones?
Or the balanced outputs instead of the single-ended one?
Edit: nevermind, I mistakingly thought you were from McIntosh support.
