HE-400 can scale well and improve on better amps than that but if you check toward the beginning of this thread you'll find a number of positive impressions on the E17, and moreso on the E9 from Matt and others.  E9 would certainly be more ideal than E17, but E17 was favorable outside the company of bigger amps as well as I recall.

Has anyone heard the HE-400 from a CTH? I love my CTH with my Fostexes, but am wondering if anyone has experienced its syngery with the HE-400's?

Have the HE400 do not want a dac amp just a dac has to work off my iPad doc

You can't do better than the odac at $150 IMO. Others to consider would be the music streamer ii. But I like the odac a lot better.

The ODAC is great for the price. But if you're looking for a DAC and an amp, try the NFB-12, I think it is.

Also, got the tracking. Should be here on Wednesday.

Really, really good. Not quite the same as the lyr, but very close!!
