Curious, what would be a nice simple fix? Just need to make it have slightly more rounded edge..add some kind of piece of foam? I dont want to lose the "hole" where the headset rests.

A large piece of PVC or pipe insulation should work. Or buy some craft foam and cut out something the same shape as the inner part of the hook, but leave a little extra hanging over the edge. That should eliminate indentations in your headband.

I saw that cardboard version in another thread as well. And yes, I rather spend the $200 on some headphones or amps. But of course, that's just my opinion

I did, they are a very nice wood job... however they don't look like a 180 dollar piece.
