What titles did you snag RnB? I'm waiting for a nice RPG to land on the PSP before I consider it, but wipeout and lumines looked like nice diversions.

I think both of these next gen systems had a lousy launch. Neither has any games I'm really interested in. The only reason I settled on buying the DS was because Castlevania is on the horizon. The only game I've actually put some decent time on was Meteos because my brother has it and we play wireless matches.

I thought about the micro but at my old age the smaller screen turned me off. I went to toysrus yesterday and looked at the DS and was not very impressed with it. When the young sales girl told me the DS will not play my old ZELDA games I said what about the SP. She said yes it will play older ZELDA games. I brought with me a link to the past SP ZELDA game and an older bigger longer 3 times longer links awakening ZELDA game and yep it goes right in the SP. And to really blow my mind the older game that is black and white has lots of color to it in the SP.

I read in the user manual that for the older B/W games there are 6 color sceams you can set for them. So of course I bought a cool looking all black SP and have been having lots of fun playing ZELDA all over again. I mean link to the past and links awakening are long fun games and need all your brain power to get through them. LOL.

red, I'm kinda confused on the backwards-compatibility thing, cause some sources say the micro is, others say it isn't. EGM said it couldn't play older games, but I didn't wanna bring it up cause I wasn't 100%.

OK the SP will play the new SP stuff and the older games like ZELDA a link to the past four swords. The older games are about 3 times longer than the SP games and stick out a bit. Both are the same with.

The DS has separate slots for "current" Game Boy Advance cartridges and new, smaller DS game cards but will not play the older games.

Now this new MICRO most likely will have a small slot to play only the MICRO games. I will do a little research on the MICRO and report back.
OK I was wrong.
Software: the Game Boy Advance has nearly 700 titles available, all of which will be playable on the Game Boy Micro.
Now I don't know if that means the older games or Current GBA games.

kiro,
i guess we'll just have to wait until it comes out. if i could play my gbo carts on it that would be a huge plus.

i like the gba sp a lot, but it only has a frontlight and no headphone jack (What??).
