Some fine day I intend to drop ~ 35-50k on a modest listening room, built around a pair of Carver 350 monoblocks which go for about 10k just in tht amps. 6k for a headphone doesn't seem so bad, but getting a TOTL audio chain from the needle -> DCA's could easily run you 20 large, and that would still look cheap compared to many of the ultra systems fetching $100,000 on the "low end".

If you got money to burn, there is always gear out there to match your idea of disposable income.

oh boy.... I remember the good old days when electrostatics were $500... I have a feeling I'm going to be just sitting on the side lines and watching.... no reason to ever try out these phones as I'm not paying that price.... sooner or later you just have to put your foot down and say... TOO HIGH PRICE

Well, you can EQ the bass with the Omega series. It has more bass than ever needed.

Doesn't work with the Lambda series due to the seal.
